A WELL ROUNDED CHALLENGE - ALMOST DONE!

Hi! New Year's Eve is almost here, and A Well-Rounded Challenge is just about over. I hope you've all enjoyed your reading, and met or exceeded your goals for this challenge.
From now until New Year's Eve (12/31/08) let's wrap up. So give your URL if you have a blog and if not, just post what you read with a comment to this blog.
I'm plagarizing from a fellow host (thanks Katrina) suggesting what you might want to comment on in your wrap-up post.
*Did you finish reading all the books you originally included? If not, why not?
*Did you change your list as you went along?
*What was your fav book that you read? Least fav? Why?
*Did you discover a new author or genre? Did you love them? Not love them?
*Did you learn something new because of this challenge -- something about reading, or yourself, or a topic you read about?
*What was your favorite thing about A Well-Rounded Challenge?
*Would you to to participate in another challenge next year? And how might it be different?
So with all your other holiday plans, etc. try to finish up this project and write your wrap-up post. It'll be fun comparing notes!

I have all the months thru Nov, but nothing in Dec really hit me yet.
*Did you finish reading all the books you originally included? If not, why not? of course

*Did you change your list as you went along? no

*What was your fav book that you read? Least fav? Why?that was harder, I loved both of these Gilbert, Elizabeth Eat, Prey, Love
5. Nov Carbone, Elisa, Blood on the Rive: James Town 1607. I am sure my least fav will be Dec.

*Did you discover a new author or genre? Did you love them? Not love them? I had never read Elizabeth Gilbert before

*Did you learn something new because of this challenge -- something about reading, or yourself, or a topic you read about? not really

*What was your favorite thing about A Well-Rounded Challenge?think it needs to be more complicated, not jsut my fav book of the month

*Would you to to participate in another challenge next year? And how might it be different? yep

Thanks Lindy for your comments. Eat, Pray, Love by Gilbert was one of my favs too.

If we do this challenge again I'll try to make it more interesting --

now that I have a full year under my belt and see what others have done, maybe we'll get to experience the full meaning of the word "challenge"! lol

I did finish all the books I originally included which I'm very happy about because that helped me finish several other challenges ;o).

I didn't change my list on this challenge because I was trying to get those other challenges finished.

The answers to your other questions can be found in my wrap-up post on my blog.

Thanks for hosting, Jan. I really enjoyed the challenge and, if you host it in 2009, I'd love to do it again.

Thanks again Kristi for posting here with a link to your blog. You did well! Am still considering a similiar challenge for next year.
